What is Citrix?

Citrix Virtual Apps allows you to use applications from campus while accessing them from your computer at home.

Should I use Citrix?

You only need Citrix if you need to access specific applications on campus that are not cloud based or if you are having trouble accessing applications through VPN. Examples of applications in Citrix include Colleague, SARS, ImageNow and Reports Server.

Do I need VPN to use Citrix?

No, you do not need VPN to access applications using Citrix, but you will need to submit a request to UserSupportServices@volamdolong.com to be given access to a Citrix license.
